Privacy Policy
This policy explains exactly what this website collects, why, and who else touches it. We have kept it specific rather than generic — every item below describes something the site actually does.
Information you give us
The quote form on our contact page collects the following, all of it typed by you:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your company or organization name
- The facility's ZIP code, type, approximate square footage
- Anything you write in the notes field
We use this to prepare your walkthrough, scope, and quote, and to contact you about that request. We do not add you to a marketing list, send promotional text messages, or sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, three additional fields are attached so we know which channels bring us enquiries:
- Lead source — a label such as "Google (organic)" or a campaign tag, derived from the link you arrived through
- Recent source — the same, for your most recent visit if it differs
- Landing page — the first page of ours you opened
To make that work, the site stores a small amount of data in your own browser using local and session storage — not cookies. It holds only the source labels above and never your name, contact details, or anything you typed. You can clear it any time through your browser's "clear site data" setting, and the site works normally without it.
Third parties involved
Netlify (hosting and form handling)
This site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores form submissions on our behalf and notifies us by email. As part of serving and processing requests, Netlify records technical information including your IP address and the time of submission.
Google Fonts
Our typeface is served by Google Fonts. Loading it means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which necessarily discloses your IP address to Google. We do not send Google any other information about you.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the life of the account plus the period our accountant and insurer require. If you ask us to delete an enquiry and we have no legal or accounting reason to keep it, we will.
Your choices
Write to info@neptunefacilityservices.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.
Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights over your personal data. We will honour a reasonable request of that kind regardless of whether the relevant law applies to a business our size.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send sensitive information — alarm codes, key details, patient information — through the website form. We will arrange a secure method once we are working together.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made quietly.
